treatment of a skin lesion. Because she is afraid of infection, the

patient is best
described as
(A)unethical and illegal
(B)ethical and legal
(C)unethical but legal
(D)ethical but illegal |

I think it's understandable, but unethical and illegal.

a real test.
I think it is unethical because of the oath you took to take care of the
sick, but whether or not it is illegal remains an open debate. Healthcare
facilities has the right to refuse treatment in case of non-emergency
procedures, so it is not illegal if you turn down non life-treatening cases.
But in real life, this question will stir up a whole debate on
discrimination laws and you'll end up being "the bad guy" and you might be
sued for discrimination on a federal level, although different states have
different laws on refusing healthcare.
While I'd like to choose A (because I hate doctors with ignorance on how
certain diseases are spread), but I think technically the answer might be C.
Since this is a bad question, I think you don't have to dwell on it. |

看来还是这道题出的不好,不纠结了, |
e**********p 发帖数: 76 | 5 yeah that's what I mean... there's no doubt that it's unethical, but I think
technically it can be legal to not treat him..
It's a bad, bad question. Where's this question from? |
