Medical history: hypertension, peptic ulcer disease two years ago.
family history: MI, DM, hypertension and hiyperlipidemia, depression.
SH: drinks two or three vodka martinis/day, smokes a pack of cigarettes/day
Assessment:
Vital signs stable.
Lungs: diffuse wheezing bilaterally
cardiovascular: no lower leg edema, regular rate and rhythm, no murmurs,
normal s2, no s3, no s4
abdominal and neuro are normal.
Medications:
zestril 10 mg po q AM
HCTZ 25 mg po q AM
Occasional tylenol PRN
MVI one tablet po qd
Lab finding:
total cholesterol 325mg/dl
HDL cholesterol 40
LDL 160
Triglycerides 200
FBS 109
问题:
1. Identify medications contributing to the case.
2. write appropriate medication orders for the patient (including
