Engineer (Contract Position)
Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics
Location: Walpole, MA
The successful candidate will be member of Walpole Point of Care Technical
Operations supporting sensor manufacturing at Siemens Healthcare Diagnostics
. The candidate will work closely with a team of scientists and engineers
focused on addressing manufacturing issues and continuous improvement of
current products and processes.
Responsibilities
• Provides assistance in routine material qualification, research
analysis, and experimentation for product and process improvements
• Prepares reports, documentation, and other paperwork required for
root cause investigations, validations, and other internal processes
• Assists scientists and engineers by performing experiments,
reporting findings, and making recommendations
• Actively participates in department projects and cross-functional
teams
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education and Experience
• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering or
a related field with 2+ years applicable industry experience in medical
diagnostics field
• Experience in electrochemistry, manufacturing process improvement,
or statistical analysis is highly desired
• Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to function in a team
environment are essential
• Experience with Microsoft PowerPoint, Project, Excel and Word, and
good oral communication skills are required.
• Adherence to ISO and safety standards is expected
• Maintains accurate, precise, and legible laboratory notebooks
• The candidate must be willing to work in a biohazardous environment |
