发帖数: 26 | 1 刚刚开始PGY-1,我是A科的,目前在B科轮转，几乎全AMG的program，觉得自己无知的猪
一样，不用说英文说的结结巴巴。幸好带的resident,attending非常nice.我每天工作
觉得还蛮enjoy的。
今天resident忽然问我为什么选了A科， 我就blahblah...diplomatic words.resident
就说：我觉得你B科的knowledge比其他intern都advanced, 很多你知道的东西我都不
知道，你是就想做A科？有没有想过换别的？
我然后就被打击了，其实当初更想做B的，但是没有一个sponsor H1b的B program要我
。。。本来已经死心塌地打算嫁鸡随鸡嫁狗随狗了，现在竟然又有点死灰复燃的感觉。
觉得好心烦，大家来泼泼我冷水，让我冷静一下吧。 |

Today the attending asked me the same q again and she said she will
convert me...
I don't know if shes joking or serious. I did apply specialty b before but
no one would give me an offer with h1b
And my current program people r treating me super nice which make me feel
horrible if I am gonna hurt them;(
Ok . If I really wanna change to b . Can I do transfer in the same hospital
or I need to reapply?
I really need ur advice. Get so lost now. I know I like b more but I donnt
wanna anyone get hurt and don't wanna ppl think that I am cheating |

I have been seeing this happening all the time. When I was the chief
resident, I hated it but I understood.
You probably should try not to stay in same hospital if possible. But it is
still doable if you have no other choices.
Do not do something you don't like when you have a choice.
