salary by 20% and use a lower base salary plus RVU bonus methods.
Also, my practice let go 2 medical assistant last week.
Boss said due to Medicare/Medicaid cut and bad economy.
Don't know if it's just my place or it's everywhere.
what should I do? |

20%cut is just for base salary. If you will be on productivity, it doesn't
matter since the base salary is not what you want anyway. You will make
more than that if you work hard. |

someone who uses stats.
I am not totally sure about the productivity/fixed pay. I was hoping
to have fixed pay for at least a while so I can build up some cushion.
Other places offered me higher pays, but this one is the highest, now I am
not sure about my choice |
