昨天通过肺部CT被初步诊断为小细胞肺癌.
实在太突然,爸爸还不是很清楚具体的诊断.
口腔，咽喉检查都没有发现异常。
颈部肿块的穿刺结果不conclusive，已经作了切片，等待结果中。
我心急如焚，希望这里的朋友们能帮助释疑
1.有没有可能误诊？通过ct能够确诊吗？爸爸说可能近几天开始化疗,是否说明一定是
已经转移，没有必要再考虑手术了。
2.我在美国，妈妈在武汉。爸爸已经被大堆的检查弄得晕头转向了，有什么问题是最关
键的要问医生的？
3.Prognosis 到底如何？作为唯一的女儿，我为妈妈做的事还太少。我想带着一双儿女
回去陪着妈妈，又担心会干扰她的休息和治疗。希望能把计划作好，让妈妈开开心心的
和病魔作斗争。
我知道我所能提供的信息很少，但还是希望能看看大家有没有什么建议和信息。 | f******I

agree, especially if it's small cell, in extended stage when left untreated
the survival is about 6 to 10 weeks i think,
the important questions to ask is whether this is cancer, and if it is, what
kind of cell type, the CT scan of the chest should have provided some clues
, such as mediastinal and/or hilar lymphadenopathy, which is often
associated with small cell lung cancer,
small cell lung cancer is often aggressive, tends to mestasize early, and
when discovered is rarely a surgical candida | t*******y

发帖数: 533 | 4 不会。。要有长期斗争的准备。其实癌症并不可怕，癌症病人关键是自己的心情，很多
人是被吓倒了。首先要吃的好，睡的好，心情好。。储存体力，尤其是化疗过程，只要
自己有信心，就没有问题。。

definitely need tissue to make diagnosis, if the neck lymph node biopsy is
inconclusive, depends on the location of the lesion in the lungs you could
obtain tissue from either bronchoscopy, with transbronchial biopsy
sensitivity up to 90% or more invasive procedures such as vats or even
thorocatomy,

you still need a tissue diagnosis regardless of PET scan result, since small
cell and non-small cell are treated quite differntly,
here is a very good example, about a month ago a friend of mine called me at
work as her husband was told by his Gi doc that he has colon cancer and is
already in the liver and they couldn't get to see a cancer doctor till a
couple weeks later and if there is anything i could do, so i called an
oncology friend and made the appointment the next day, we were all think
