发帖数: 348 | 5 Gastric endoscopy won't be the first thing.
First, do a blood test including a liver function test.
Second, do an ultrasound of the gall bladder and the liver if nothing is
found in Step 1.
Third, do an X-ray of the chest including the esophagus if nothing is found
in Step 2.
Finally, do a gastric endoscopy if nothing is found in Step 3.

what is the rationale behind the strategy? why not also get a HIDA scan, Cat
scan, MRI and even a PET scan while you are at it?
