a complicated surgery. We do not know whether we should 给医生送红包? We
are willing to do that to get the best doctor and to appreciate the doctor.
But I am not sure whether that is proper or necessary in Beijing now. If we
need to 给医生送红包, should we give it before the surgery or after the

手术成败有无数个因素,很多不是医生主观能控制的
很可怕的是有人事前不问治疗细节光塞红包,失败了就怪大夫无能...

5000rmb is good enough for wipple's. but for 肿瘤医院,天坛,阜外,积水潭 医院,
some greedy docs may ask for more. give the money before the surgery.

i thought LZ's father's surgery is c-spine surgery, not whipple, but it's a
very strange practice to pay the doctors privately in addition to the fees
you already paying to the hospital, wonder how those doctors sleep at night,
anyway, wish lz's father the best of luck and a quick recovery,

发帖数: 99 | 11 Right, my father is diagnosed as having 脊髓型颈椎病 and way delayed. So the
surgery will be very complicated and risky.
We will ask the best doctor to do the surgery if possible. Giving 红包 is
the only thing that we can do to possibly improve the surgery result. If the
surgery result is not as good as we wished, we will not regret ourselves at
least.

Should it be just cash? Can we give him a 活期存折 with a password?
My mom is afraid that if giving him cash, he won't know how much immediately
. A bit of thick envelop too.

him a couple days before the surgery. For the nurses, buy some refreshments
and give it to the head nurse, she would distribute.

准备现金，封在信封里，找个机会去主刀医生的办公室询问病情（或其它私人场合），
然后递过去。另外一个你必须给的是麻醉师，按照主刀医生的一半给差不多了。另外，
考虑到这个手术的复杂性和北京的地域性，我认为主刀医生起码给5000。
