wouldn't say it's non-invasive, it's probably more like "minimum invasive",
forgive me for being AhQish, that you do have to place a probe into the
tumor to apply the heat to try to apply radiofrequency to ablate the tumor,
a fancy way of saying we'll use the heat to kill off the tumor,
how effective it is i'm not so sure, | g***r

interesting, when the term of ablation mentioned, either radiofrequency
abalation, to me, it means to apply a probe that emmits heat to burn the
tissue, or cryoabaltion, the probe that emeits cold or whatever to freeze
the tissue; either case you have to place the probe directly into the tumor,
which has to be invasive, though less so comparing a lobectomy,
even in chemo-embolization, like they do for liver mets, you still have to
insert the catheter through the tumor site to deliver chemo agen | b******n

We plan to apply for a research award which is for "Non-invasive cancer
ablation treatment research". Our therapeutic strategy could be sth like "
induction of skin tumor regression by a pro-senescence approach" (lure
cancer cells to sleep). Do you guys think this could be somehow regarded as
"non-invasive cancer ablation treatment"? |
