most common cause of snoring.
The diagnosis requires a sleep-test, which involves an overnight sleep-in in
the hospital with real time monitoring of his breathing patterns. This
service is available in China as well, at least in Shanghai as far as I know.
CPAP is much cheaper in the US, however. You can order them online as long
as you provide a prescription from China.

The Dx of sleeping apnea can be established with polysomnography.
For the treatment of snoring, several suggestions.
1. Change the position of sleeping, sleep on one side,
2. Some spray may increase the tone of the throat muscle, that helps in mild
case. (OTC)
3. CPAP is good choice for sleeping apnea.
4. tonsillectomy is treatment of choice for those who got swollen tonsil
blocking the airway.
5. Surgery, that is not always accepted, final resort. |
