英文《中国日报》2月25日深度报道：方渤曾经被“英雄”的光环笼罩着。据中国
日报网报道，七年前的“非典”抗战中，他战胜了致命的病毒，在媒体的聚光下成为了
抗击非典胜利的希望，被鲜花和祝福环绕着。
七年后，已经58岁的方渤成为了一个被遗忘的非典幸存者。曾经救了他一命的激素
疗法让现在的他疾病缠身。
他的两髋各爬着一条30厘米长的大疤──股骨头置换手术留下的痕迹。2003年他接
受的激素疗法给他留下了骨坏死的后遗症。他的双膝和双肩也受到了后遗症的影响。
“我全身的骨头变得跟石膏一样脆弱，”他说。这个退休的北京厨师如今尚能走路
却生活在无止境的病痛中。“骨坏死不会马上杀死我，却能慢慢折磨我的后半生。”
在非典大爆发的时期，中国大陆有超过5000人被感染，其中349个人死于非典。
非典夺走了方渤的妻子和妻姐。在接受了40天治疗痊愈出院后，方渤捐出了他带有
抗体的血清并且表示愿意在死后捐出遗体用作医学研究 | d*w
发帖数: 384 | 2 I don't think it's fair to blame corticosteroid use as the major cause of AVN. Even though corticosteroids are a well known cause, they are not the most common one.
Viral infection causes AVN; alcohol abuse does; tobacco smoking does;
hyperlipidemia does; various autoimmune diseases do, and etc. The case in this article had viral infection, alcohol abuse and heavy tobacco smoking. Corticosteroid use is likely only a small part of the equation. Excessive weight(force)-bearing causes AVN too, whic

its "medical experts". Had they managed early phases of the epidemic
properly, it might not have gotten out of southern China, and these people
might never get infected in the first place...
