去预约牙医
被小秘告知：
一个医生全部被保险cover，但可能需要2-3次visit才能做完
另一个医生保险付完我自己还要掏170块左右，但据说他一次就能把根冠治疗做完
我的问题是：
根冠治疗会很痛苦么？
要是分几次的才能做完的话，是不是中间那几天会很难受？（牙齿被开了个洞，啥东西
都不能吃？）
一次就能做完这个手术的话，是不是说明这个医生水平更高？
在考虑是不是值得自己掏点多余的钱选择一次性做完的医生
请指教，谢谢！ |

09年在这里作的，2次
无所谓的
你要作根管了，说明牙疼的很厉害了，根管本身就痛那么一下，比你自己长期疼要好 |

这几年貌似也没事
但这边牙医说X光表明国内那次牙医根管没做完全（只堵了一根管子，还有别的官子也
需要堵）
所以坚持要我再做一次根管
其实自己有点犹豫
既然不痛还正常，为啥一定要受那个麻烦。。。

发帖数: 189 | 5 You do not have to go for the re-treatment if you have no pain. But if the
tooth needs a crown, the dentist here will not do the crown unless you re-
treat the root canal.
The standard for root canal therapy is very different between China and US.
Most root canals done in China will need to be re-treated by the standard
here, especially if the root canal is done a few years ago or in a smaller
cities in China. Only a few major dental schools in China are adopting the
US standard in recent years. Even in the major dental schools, the root
canal therapy still have a lot to improve.
The condition of your tooth is only potentially problematic. There is a good
chance you will be OK if you do not do anything to it. But you do need to
be aware that the tooth can suddenly becomes painful and swell up.
It usually is one visit if you see a specialist (endodontist) or an experienced general dentist. Our students finish
a root canal in 2 to 3 visits. |

一下，将来如果出问题再去重做root canal，是不是更好？root cancal也算个大手术
么？不想动不动就对牙齿伤筋动骨么。。

you might get in trouble in the future
and may lose the tooth.
Other dentist may say no, and ask you find another dentist to do the filling.
This is a judgement call. I do what I do because I know that the tooth will
be OK in a majority of cases. But if
another dentist do believe that you will get infection and may likely lose
the tooth, he or she may insist that
you do the canal. Both instances are reasonable.

发帖数: 826 | 8 老实讲，我没觉得美国的牙医比国内的专业多少
补的filling只过了3个月，自己掉了
我的同一颗牙的根管在这里作了两次，因为第一次做完了居然还自己还会疼，跑去问，
说有个根没填充好，要把里面清洗了再做一次，
第二次做完了还是咬不了比较硬的东西，我再去问牙医，他说拍片看来没什么问题，让
我自己忍了
我也不想再在这里大弄我的牙了，感觉国内的好点的医生经验丰富，下手快准狠，没这
里弄的痛苦 |

发帖数: 5059 | 9 我去年在国内补的那块掉了，有个洞，如果咬食物的话，明显感觉碰到神经一样不舒服
，但是不碰它一点不疼，医生要求做根管和牙冠，因为保险不cover我问可不可以暂时
补上，他说要钻开看神经的情况决定是否要根管治疗，我不太懂不痛也有可能要做根管
治疗吗？

要观察两周
现在那颗牙被临时补上
虽然医生跟我说会肿胀不舒服
但这两天实在是太难受了
简直恨不得拿钢针去戳牙肉来减轻痛苦感
可我的朋友也作过根管治疗，他说没那么疼，劝我换牙医
请教做完根管是很疼么？还是跟牙医水平有关？
