this is not 100% correct:-)
some hospitals especially city hospitals in NY has special program for poor
people no matter their visa status.
I applied it for my mom at my hospital. it will cover out patient clinic
visit, blood test and x rays and may include CT scan. but prescription and
in pt admission are not covered.
my mom's over 2000 dollars bill is waived.
