标 题: 很崩溃，感觉被医生黑了。

两个星期前在Gramercy Park Digestive Disease Center做了胃镜检查。今天收到一封
保险
公司寄来的信(Cigna HMO)，说要7000刀，一分钱也不cover，因为是out of network。
一开始也没想做胃镜，只是找PCP做了一个常规体检。因为胃有一些问题，PCP叫我去找
医生A做胃
镜，并且告诉我是会被保险cover的。想想检查一下也没有坏处，就去找医生A去看，医
生A把我安排
在了Gramercy Park Digestive Disease Center做检查，并且是他自己负责的。当时特
地问
了医生A要交多少钱，医生A很确定的说保险会cover全部。
现在很后悔检查前没有打电话找保险公司确认，太相信医生了。但仔细想想，医生A应
该经常给病人做
胃镜，没有理会搞错保险cover的情况啊。难道是这样可以拿到更多的钱所以把我给黑
了？
打算明天打电话给保险公司，不过out of network应该是事实，我在保险公司网上没有
查到这个
Center。
我会打电话给医生A，但如果他抵赖我也没有任何证据。
7000刀真的很崩溃，大家有什么办法么？ |

think you should get in touch with the doctor's office or even himself for a
settlement. I suspect you will have to pay a small portion of the charge
in the end. |

I run into exactly (almost) the same situation as you once before and the
insurance covered it fully because i was not aware that the facility was out
of the network. But it might just be that i got lucky that time...
