发了，白白的挺难看的。我想能不能在美国找个美容手术把伤疤去除？另外blue cross
医保能否涵盖这个手术呢？谢谢。 |

transplant or restoration isn't considered medically necessary yet.
the one procedure that was traditionally considered medically unnecessary
but is now considered necessary is breast reconstruction after mastectomy
for breast cancer patients.

发帖数: 4124 | 6 another example that insurance companies think differently from physicians
and patients: some sleep apnea cases are caused by relaxed soft palate. in
these cases, soft palate reduction is very effective (long term (> 10 years)
effectiveness not as certain as short term one). the vast majority
insurance policies don't consider it a medically necessary procedure.
