镜，CT，看到胃有4个肿瘤，其中一个在胃进口处。老外医生没明说不是不是恶性肿瘤
（癌症），说要做手术，但要见心脏医生和肺部医生确定我爸可以做手术。我姐姐找了
个中国人医生看了报告，他说是癌症。还有报告里还说没有检查到幽门螺旋菌。到底有
没有这个菌对是不是胃癌有关系？到底我爸得的是不是胃癌啊？有懂的朋友可以帮忙看
看，帮忙解释一下吗？我们想劝服爸爸去做手术，但是也想了解一下他的情况是不是做

I concern about "ulcerated mass" and the size of the mass. The path report
did not idenify malignant cells but as you know, the biopsy could miss the
cancer tissue. As mentioned in the comment of both endoscopy and CT scan
report, most likely this is cancer, and it causes symptoms. The next step
would be surgery: 1. could relieve symptoms; 2. could further clarify if
this is malignancy or not, and rule out local invasion and mets which will
determine if chemo (or radiation therpay) needed or not. Based on the CT
report, no mets found, and you dad has good baseline functional status.
Those are indications for good prognosis. Those small lestions in liver and
and lungs should be followed up by imagines.

Yes, definitely association has been established although only 1% of stomach
cancer is caused by H. pylori. But negative H. pylori test does not rule
out staomach cancer. |
