我父亲持B2签证过来，我替我父亲买了Atlas的旅游保险，250美元的deductible,50000
美元的max limit,每个月我需要付160刀给保险公司。
保险合同说这个保险cover Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition.
然后我找到合同中 Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition的定义：
Acute Onset of Pre-existing Condition:
The term “Acute Onset of a Pre-Existing Condition(s)” shall mean a sudden
and
unexpected outbreak or recurrence of a Pre-existing Condition(s) which
occurs spontaneously and without advance warning
either in the form of Physician recommendations or symptoms, is of short
duration, is rapidly progressive, and requires
urgent care.
A Pre-existing Condition that is achronic or congenital condition or that
gradually becomes worse over time will not be considered Acute Onset.
总觉得以上的表达有些不清楚。
具体的情形是：我父亲有慢阻肺(Chronic obstructive pulmonary disease)，碰到季
节变换的时候会咳嗽的比较厉害，呼吸比较费
力，在国内的时候一般到医院打几天抗生素。
不知道我父亲的慢阻肺上面的旅游保险是否cover.
如果这个医疗保险不能cover能否有其他的途径来cover。 |
