documents I brought are passport with visa and I94 (visa expired), EAD card
(I'm on OPT), social security card, and apartment lease. The officer asked
me to fill out a license request form, made a photocopy of the documents,
did eyesight test and took a picture for me. I got a temporary license and
was told I would receive the driver's license in one week. I hope this info
is helpful for those who are trying to get a licen |

你的外州驾照他们收走了吗？
是不是办好MI驾照以后，下一步你就要买保险，然后把车title也转过来了？

lost)? I assume the SOS does not have to see the actual card, does it? |

of the license and attach it with the temporary license.
I bought insurance and transferred the title before I transferred the
license. Car registration and insurance can be done without MI license.

But DS-2019 and I-94 can prove my legal stay for one and a half years.
I'm J-1 visa holder and can't apply EAD card at all.
