The senator is probably going to vote on the Iraq
supplemental bill early this week. Please give a call
to our senators, requesting them to support the Murrie
amendment for recapturing the unused visa for high
skilled workers. This amendment has to get 60 votes in
the senator for it to be included in the Iraq funding
bill.

or community Chinese maillist to encourage more people to pick up the phone
to call the senators office? This recapture bill will not only benefit
those currently stuck in the green card process, but also anyone who just
started the first step of green card application and any future applicants.
We especially need support from small states where Chinese are under-
represented. Thanks. |
