"There is no land at the North Pole, but as long as anyone has looked, it
has remained a giant block of ice year-round. Scientists have been watching
Arctic sea ice melt more and more each year. But each summer in recent years
, the amount of ice has gotten thinner and thinner. Each winter's freeze,
therefore, results in a thinner pack that, this summer, could melt
altogether." | B****n 发帖数: 1404 | 2 i just hope michigan has ice-free spring.

I hope you were kidding. Just think if that happens, how tragic will it be.
If you really long for "ice-free" springs, you should better move to a
southern state. Hoping Michigan to become Florida is futile and dangerous.
At the same time, do you like a hotter summer too?
Circa 2008, if someone still laughs at the idea of global warming, I
think he/she is not qualified as a citizen of the modern world.

Second, ice-free doesn't mean as warm as florida.
Third, there are places with similar latitude as Michigan being ice-free in
spring.

| m********e 发帖数: 152 | 5 This now becomes boring. If there is no spring in Michigan, why did you talk
about "ice-free spring" the first place?
Simple solution for you, I believe, is still to move out of here. But you
haven't. Why bitching about it?

不过我还不打算只是因为天气的原因就搬出去。和michigan人民一样,我更关心的是经

slow automobile sales, which is caused by rising fuel prices, which is bond
to happen according to the supply and demand rule. Mis-calculation of the big three
has made the situation worse. Burning fossil fuel in cars increases green
house gases, and contributes to global warming. For this reason, it is
becoming increasingly unappealing. It is not too hard to figure out
business/economy is tied to environment. Only busi |
