I came here, made several 180 degree turns on the road when trying to stop,

With $20k budget, you could go for a 1-2 year old used car, which is the
best deal now. Since big three had lots of cheap leases in the last few
years, now they are all back to the dealers.
Ford Edge is a pretty good choice, not expensive, good reviews, only thing
bothered me is the alarm sound when oil changes are due, very annoying, this
feature goes for Ford Explorer too, as far as I know.
I had the best experience with Tahoe, b

I will definitely consider the American car! My 12-year old ford sedan is
still working perfectly now. However, I have to give it up for long distance
traveling.
I am also think about Subaru Froster.
Well, I will definitely test drive them all!

记得一个study报告说，雪胎的效用在用过几千miles之后就没了。好像周边的人很少用。
据说可以等雪大的时候找个空旷地方转圈练donut，提高打滑时的控制技巧。
