send her daughter for high school, which is close to me so that somehow I
can take care of her (I am in lansing area). I found this boarding school
and would like to know more information about the school. If you know this
school or if you know someone studying in this school, please let me know.

worried about the tuition since I am not the one going to pay :). I am just
worried that if she can get accepted. |

发帖数: 629 | 6 这个学校实在不怎么样，真的要花钱，要上好的michigan私立学校，只有detroit
country day了。个人觉得送cranbrook没必要，除非孩子有特殊原因需要比较小班的照
顾，不然ann arbor、troy等地方好的公立高中都比cranbrook好。
这么远从国内送来，又要花大钱，还是考虑new england区的私立住宿高中吧... |

不过好像听说DCD比cranbrook好啊。至少在上ivy的比例高很多。

己在外面加油的很多，并不是学校的功劳。
他们上ivy的比例你能说的详细点吗？

发帖数: 3527 | 12 我听一个朋友说的，DCD 上 ivy level 的比例是20%以上，U of M Ann Arbor or
equivalent 的比例是 40～ 50%。俺这只是道听途说而已，不保证是否正确。呵呵。

发帖数: 38 | 14 The public schools don't accept international students and issue F-1 visa,
unless they come with their parents with other visas. So they can only be
exchange student for maximum one year in public schhol. DCD is not a
boarding school, and they don't arrange home stay for international students
, and we are living around lansing. I know there are many good boarding
schools in New England, but her parents wanted someone to take care of the
girl somehow since she is still young. |
