Hi All,
I think we can gather together at around 9am Saturday, 9/24, and fish in the
afternoon. For these who want to fish in the evening and night, we can book
a hotel and return on Sunday. If you are interested in joining us, please
get back to me by the coming Wednesday with your location and intention of
fish one day or two days. We will decide where to meet after we get the head
count.
NOVI suggests a few things as below:
1. Wader. It is strongly recommended to buy a tight rubber wader for your
safety. A tight and elastic one can prevent water getting in in case you
fall down and save your life. We need to buy waders before they are sold out
in this season.
2. line, etc. 50lb line (not mono) is necessary for the big salmon weighting
20lb. 1oz sinker might be necessary. A big net is a must to catch the fish
after you pull the fish in.
3. If we decide a two-day trip and want to fish at night (to avoid the
crowded), we will need various fishing lights.
4. regulations. Study the regulation because there are some special terms
about fishing salmon. We also need to UPGRADE the fishing license to all
species at about $13.00
