Avondale School district will be hosting Michigan's largest model train show
on Sunday, January 20th, 2013 at Avondale High School from 10a-3p. Nearly
400 tables will be filled with model train, model railroad and other
railroad memorabilia.
Cost for "A Train Show" is $3 for adults and children under 12 are free.
Proceeds will benefit the Avondale Education Foundation which supports
student development through education and enrichment programs. A free
showing of “Thomas the Tank Engine & Friends™ Blue Mountain Mystery”
shown in Avondale High School Auditorium at 1p. Also, Dan Dan the Choo Choo
Man will be giving free train rides to the kids in Avondale High School's
gym.
Parking is free and food and beverages will be available for purchase.
