据1月12日出版的《环球时报》报道 法新社11日晚间最新消息，就去年9月的印度电厂
烟囱倒塌事件，印度警方11日逮捕3名中国人。
报道称，这3人为中国山东电力基本建设公司的雇员，该公司负责承建位于印度查
提斯加尔邦科尔巴地区的这座烟囱。当地一名警员告诉法新社说，2名中国工程师和1名
项目经理被指控“有罪杀人”，但不等同于谋杀罪。
去年9月23日下午，当时闪电及雷雨大作，科尔巴地区一座发电厂内正在兴建的178
米烟囱突然倒塌，41名印度工人死亡。事情发生后，一些当地人迁怒于中国公司，印度
官方甚至禁止中国工程师离境，要求协助调查。迄今为止，印方已经逮捕7名与此事有
关的人。
山东电建公司此前接受《环球时报》采访时表示，电厂工程确实是该公司总体承建
，但烟囱项目后来转包给了印度甘农-邓克利公司，这一事故与中国公司并无直接关系。
法新社称，科尔巴地区警察局长否认烟囱倒塌与天气有关，认为“糟糕的技术”和
