In a long run, democracy has higher efficiency in term of productivity.
Communism does not work because it inhibit the humanity (no incentive, who
the hell work hard) but produces dictatorship. Democracy is not cure-all. It
works only when there is a true rule of law. Without the rule of law,
efficiency in democratic system may be as low as a communist system.
There plenty of examples: Hongkong vs Hainan (before 1980s), South

这个印度商人说这番话，你得看他到底想说什么，很多人无非是打着各种各样的旗号，
但把自己真正的想法隐藏起来，如果你要解读这个印度人到底想说什么，你得让自己变
得聪明一点。这个印度人说一个国家应该往一个方向使劲，听起来很动听，但是我想问
的是，这个方向到底是谁的方向，显然是这个印度商人自己期望的方向，但这就代表其
他人的方向吗？显然不能代表。一个社会，不同的人背景不同，受教育不同，能力不同
，财富积累不同，怎么可能大家的方向都一样？一个政府最重要的职能就是平衡各方面
的利益，照顾到绝大多数人的利益，让哪怕最穷的人过稍微体面一点的生活，这个比让
最富裕的人更光鲜要重要的多。
我敢说，中国的商人是世界上最幸福的商人，他们想扒谁的房子就扒谁的房子，想占谁
