thousands of subcontracting companies, some of them don't exist
today, others may be merged or bought,
even if all the paper document remain, you can't reproduce something 40
years ago. Most engineers retired. Most production line and process changed.
Nothing can be reused. In hi tech world ( for example, semiconductor), if
some chip is 5 years old, it may become obsolete and no where to be obtained
. If US wants to do it again, they need to use the latest tech, and that
means redesign everything using today's tech. There is no point to use tech
40 years ago when CPU is not existing yet. But what can they gain from doing
it again? Not much.
There is no gold on the moon, no resource, no glory. What is the motivation
to spend billions? Just to show TG and doubters on this board? |
