Asian graduate student in the lab that was a big practical joker. One of his
favorite practical jokes was to give completely erroneous instructions on
how to operate particular pieces of lab equipment to new grad students and
then to watch them squirm when things didn't work. The lab rules were
written by the lab students during that time and intended as humorous way to
