ORLANDO, Fla. -- Three activists have been arrested for feeding the homeless
in a public park in violation of a City of Orlando ordinance.
Police officers arrested the three activists with the group Orlando Food Not
Bombs Wednesday evening after they fed about 40 homeless people in downtown
Orlando's Lake Eola park.
The Orlando ordinance requires groups to get a permit to feed 25 or more
people in parks in a downtown district. The rules also restrict the groups
to two permits per year for each park.
The law was passed in 2006, but Orlando Food Not Bombs challenged it in
court, claiming giving food to the needy in public spaces was protected by
the First Amendment. In April, a federal appeals court in Atlanta ruled that
the Orlando law was legal.

According to several reports, four members of the group Food not Bombs were
arrested this morning at Lake Eola Park for violating the city’s “Large
Group Feeding” ordinance by doling out free food to more than 25 people. (

The Orlando Police Department has not yet confirmed the arrests.
The group has now seen seven members of their group arrested in the past
five days—three were arrested on June 1, including the group’s de facto
spokesperson, Ben Markeson. (For more details on those arrests, see the
forthcoming edition of Happytown in our June 9 issue.) Despite the emerging
pattern of punishment, Markeson tells the Weekly there will “absolutely”
enough people to continue feeding the homeless at Lake Eola Park in
violation of the ordinance: “We’ll be out there with food on Wednesday,
for sure.” |

国内很多农村50人以上聚餐都要备案的,即使是在自己家里.
不过每个group每年限2次就纯属NC了. |

米国的无家可归是被政府和警察歧视的。

个公园里的聚餐很容易超过25个人，这个要申请是orlando特有的还是其他地方也有类
似规定，我记得除了需要预定一下亭子外不需要申请什么permit吧。 |

前财长送七千亿给墙街那是窃国之举。
钱是政府出，但最终是纳税人买单。
给钱时正是全国人民都没钱的时候，
所以最方便墙街在股市抄底发横财。
当时其他人都缺钱想抄底也不可能。
所以那七千亿对墙街的贡献是巨大的，
由于墙街用来抄底，实际价值十倍不止。
