What is in a name? The fundamenta-l story about China is their complete reje
ction to the idea of DEMOCRACY: it does not make sense that ordinary people
can hold national policies at ransom with some sort of voting rights and the
leadership has to pamper to them once every 2 or 4 years in a fake ritual w
e now call voting.
Instead, Chinese government asserts that Chinese Way: the legitimacy of the
government is BASED ON economic advancemen-t and social improvemen-t. It is
the end in itself. The form of governance is just that, a form. There is NO
ONE WAY OF governance that must be ABSOLUTELY RIGHT AND UNIVERAL. Instead, t
his world SHOULD BE filled with all sort of governance-!
That is the REAL IMPACT OF CHINA: it offers a fundamenta-l alternativ-e to t
he FALLACY OF DEMOCRACY which is wasteful, ineffectiv-e and fake (the voting
ritual is just that, a ritual!) |

Chinese goods are above average. It is not the greatest in the world yet for
the price range, it is doing reasonably well. Don't get sucker up into the
sensational headlines.
Do a tally about how many recalls in US products in the last couple years an
d how many from Chinese products during the same time. You might be surprise
!

cale projects in a short amount of time. Living in Boston, we waited for ove
r two decades for this project to complete. The project was delayed for like
a decade and the cost went from an estimated $3B to $15B in 2006. Granted,
the big dig is still US' greatest engineering feat in recent times, but
it has its share of major issues such as frequent leaks, collapsing roof pan
els which killed motorists, and guardrails which killed motorcyclists. T
he state is still suing multiple vendors for poor work quality.
I think anyone who has managed large projects before would appreciate the fa
ct that at least the bridge was built relatively on time and cost.
