Wilmington - United States Vice President Joe Biden is more than a leader
for the nation, he's a landlord. Biden's tenants are the same people hired
by the nation to protect him, the Secret Service.
According to the Washington Times a cottage beside the Biden family home in
Wilmington, Delaware is being rented out for $2,200 a month to the Secret
Service.
The government is paying the rent for the cottage with Biden listed as a
vendor on documentation. The Vice President has already made over $13,000 in
rental payments from those who stay at the cottage while protecting him and
his family. Biden the landlord has the good luck to have a rental agreement
until the fall of 2013 with tenants that will not be breaking the lease.
