Everything has two sides, the postive side and the negative side.
On apperance, banning Iran's oil export can increase the oil price and turn
off China's economy engine. That's the negative side. However, China is not
a country built by fools. China's leaders paid a lot of attention to new
energy development nearly 20 years ago because they expected that sooner or
later westerners would try to contain China. That's why China's
hydro power, nuclear power, solar power and wind power industry have made revolutionary progress in the past 10 years. And the Western's oil ban againt Iran can only stimulate China's motivation to develop new energy even new materails much more hardly than before. That's the positive side.
If the ban to Iran's oil export really works, I bet China will be the leader
all over the world in the new energy industry in 10 years. |
