A remakable achivement When the British left India after two centuries of exploitation, India had become one of the world's poorest economies, with a GDP PPP of $ 222 billion. In 65 years, we have become the third largest, despite having a non-prductive population of 60%, and 52% involved in agriculture which contributes only 18% to the national economy. |

I keep seeing a lot of articles similar to this. While reading i feel proud
but when i step outside, i couldnt stop finding such articles hard to
believe. The roads, the infrastructure, cleanliness and our mindset havnt
changed much in the last 5 years. wonder how our life has improved even
though statistically we are impressive.
