Dear STEM Student,
Mayor ** has provided ** with an opportunity to host an event on Wednesday,
April 3, 2013 with Acting Labor Secretary Seth Harris on the topic of
President Obama's Proposal for STEM stapling. The President's proposal
encourages foreign graduate students educated in the United States to stay
here and contribute to the US economy by "stapling" a green card to the
diplomas of science technology, engineering and mathematics (STEM) PhD and
Master's degree graduates from qualified U.S. universities who have found
employment in the United States. This is a proposal that President **
supports.
Next Wednesday's event would involve a roundtable discussion with 10-12
people, as well as an audience and press coverage, and it is slated for 10:
30-11:45am.
Please let us know if you will be able to serve on the roundtable discussion
by responding to this e-mail by 5:00 today, Friday, March 29th. We will
forward the first few affirmative responses we receive to the organizers and
they will be in touch with you. Even if you will not participate we
encourage you to follow the discussion on April 3, 2013. | T*****g

希望这个会别又是民主党阵营这边自high，倒时候说，你看，我们努力了，都找你们谈
话了，结果是共和党搞不定。如果这些都是个作秀，就懒得去了，还得西装笔挺的

这个stem肯定没那么容易通过, 因为民主党要求stem和其他移民政策捆绑, 比如安抚非
法移民的政策, 而这个东西共和党是反对的. 反过来共和党要把Lottery绿卡全部改成
stem
, 民主党也是不干的
去听听总比不去强吧, 说不定会上能听到风声
