Lets admit that the Congress led UPA government has had a series of failure
and its time for them to go. I hope that they will not bait the Hindu Muslim
divide to retain power at any cost. They must understand that they are
toast.

The failure is also to be blamed on our diplomats. There is no way they
should have accepted the PM getting accomodation 40 km away while the other
leaders were housed in town. These arrangements are made months in advance
and there was plenty of time to insist that India not be put at a logistical
disadvantage. It could be that India simply does not have enough diplomats
to do the job. We have fewer foreign service officers than Singapore, in
total hardly about 600, or on average three per each country in the world.
This because, stupidly, the UPSC has kept the number of IFS candidates
chosen for diplomatic service service each to only 20, unchanged since the
early 1950s, while the country's population has tripled, its economy
increased 8-fold, and its foreign interests have expanded hugely.
Notwithstanding, the South Africans have the most blame to share for their
unprofessional and careless management of the summit.
Nobody cares about India due to MMS

Manmohan Singh is rightly regarded as a poodle and doesn't get any respect.
The Americans humour him for the own ends. He has made India an American
ally. He was imposed on India as FM at America's insistence.
