The Coast Guard was alerted about the incident at about 11:50 p.m. Thursday
after receiving an ejection seat notification from the jet, according to a U

The Navy's Fleet Area Control and Surveillance Facility at Naval Air Station
Oceana in Virginia Beach were able to confirm that two 113th Wing D.C. Air
National Guard were involved in a collision.
The Coast Guard rescued the pilot at about 12:30 a.m., the news release. The
pilot is in good condition and has since returned to Joint Base Andrews in
Maryland, the news release said. The other pilot involved in the collision
immediately flew back to base, the release said. | k**o
