It is an amazing feeling doing 325 kph on a train. The journey from Beijing
to Shanghai 4 hours!! WOW. We went first class. You get a bigger,
comfortable seat. The UK has a long way to go ! The train is much better
than the plane, less queues, city centre arrival. | h******1

“you should try it once”

trains in china are great - you should try fast train at least once. if you
have tie for one day trip you can use fast train to ho to Suzhou or Hangzhou
, if not just take maglev from airport. Check on the website as in some
hours it goes faster! standar speed is 300km/h.

Depending on the length and destination the ride will cost you double the
regular speed train ride and will get you to your destination in 30 to 50
percent quicker. The one that I took offered a lot less (no diner car) and
is more or less like riding in a more comfortable daily business train.

“Excellent Train, Exciting travel”

Have never traveled with this high class train. Super fast, super on time,
most comfortable. They offer even Business Class. Better then any airline.
Phantastic.

“Wonderful Experience!”

Riding the rails between Shanghai & Suzhou, and then Suzhou & Hangzhou, was
a wonderful experience. The train is amazing! It's modern, clean as a
whistle, & comfortable. The seats are the same as airplane seats, with one
important exception: they have plenty of leg room. The ticketing system is
very clear; our tickets bore the number of the train...

“Safer way to travel”

Our group had to go to Yingtan City in the Jiangxi Province. It was a
comfortable and at times scenic, 5 hour trip from and to Shanghai. Seats are
numbered (make sure you are in the correct car) and comfortable. There were
drinks and food sold inside the trains but I suggest you bring your own as
choices are limited.

“High speed beijing to hangzhou”

Had to get first class tickets because 2nd was sold out. Very happy with 1st
class. 2nd class looked crowded, smelly and noisy. Bring your own food, the
food on the train is not good.

“301 km/h is fast”

The Maglev train is a must to do if you go to Shanghai. It runs from the
city to the airport and a return trip is very cheap.

Love travelling on the trains in China. We did Shanghai to Nanjing. Nanjing
to Beijing then back again. Fast and efficient and easy to travel with
luggage. Also did the Maglev when leaving Shanghai was good but wouldn't do
it again easier to take the subway all the way from city to airport and
cheaper. Would be good if it...
