“We are reminded of the real history behind various wars of aggression
against China over the past two centuries which were wars over trade access
and trade imbalances and therefore foreign debt. These wars resulted in the
deaths of tens of millions of Chinese, so this is no joking matter. It
should therefore not be a surprise that the controversial comments have been
met with international protests and the “apologies” offered by Mr. Kimmel
and ABC have been rejected.”

直接说，我们reject，那个道歉（打引号的），insincere and inadequate
不像我们这里一些不要脸的接受道歉，然后让大家回家
