when i started reading this article, i thought china is acting stupid again;
but when i looked at the map showing the 2 countries' air defense areas, i
thought wow, in fairness, why didn't china complaint about japan's air
defense area before? it seems to me that japan's air defense area, which was
probably established years ago, left not much air defense area for china
visibly on the map.
but even if china has a legitimate reason, it should never unilaterally
declare its air defense area without consulting its neighbors. more
disturbing to me is US military sending it's planes into this controversial
space in defiance to the chinese declaration, and now japan is doing the
same following US. the actions from all 3 countries are disappointing,
particularly the US. i expect the US to be better at keeping peace in the
world solving issues at the table multilaterally rather than leading
countries to play games of chicken. pls don't send war planes, send your
diplomats |

Maybe in the year of 2030 with all the Chinese (American/European/etc )'s
tech and economic help from the worldwide
