Garcia said deputies went to the family's Cypress home last Thursday after
co-workers of the husband became concerned when he didn't show up for work
for several days.
At the home, deputies saw that the back door was open and inside they found
what Garcia described as a "horrific crime scene."
Harris County Sheriff's Office Sgt. Felipe Rivera said all four victims were
found in their bedrooms. He declined to give other details of the crime
scene, only saying the victims had not been tied up and no weapons were
found at the home.
"We have no other information that will speak to a motive, as to why this
occurred," Garcia said. "From all indications, they were a quiet family,
they were the average family. ... I am bothered by the loss of life of two
children."
Autopsies done by the Harris County Institute of Forensic Sciences have
ruled the deaths as homicide. All four victims — including the 7- and 9-
year-old boys — were shot in the head. Garcia said authorities don't know
the type of weapon that was used or what caliber it was.
Rivera said investigators found signs of forced entry on one of the home's
windows but it was unclear if that damage had occurred recently or was older
. Investigators don't know if anything was taken from the home.
"It is baffling," Rivera said of the case.
The last time anyone is known to have seen the family's father was Jan. 24,
when he finished his workday as a mechanical engineer for Cameron, a Houston
-based company that provides flow equipment products, systems and services
to worldwide oil, gas and process industries.
Sharon Sloan, a spokeswoman for Cameron, confirmed the man had worked for
the company but declined to comment further.
Garcia said the search for a suspect continues and he urged anyone with
information on the case to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-8477.
"I need everyone in this region ... to help us bring these evildoers to
justice," he said.
Public records show that the home and the two Toyotas in front of the
residence were owned by Maoye Sun, 50, and his wife, Mei Xie, 49.
Garcia said his office is working with the Chinese consulate to locate
relatives.
The couple married in Harris County in 2000. A year later, they bought the
house, valued at $270,000. They spoke Mandarin Chinese at home, school
records show.
Neighbors said the two boys often were seen playing outside.
According to LinkedIn and Facebook, Sun had a doctorate from the University
of Texas at Austin in engineering mechanics and worked as an analyst at
Cameron, an oil field equipment manufacturer. |

想了一下，有没可能用左轮不掉弹壳？
但这么近的邻居啥也没听见，还有四人都死在不同房间没有捆绑，应该是夜里睡着了杀
的，肯定用了消音器，左轮能消音吗。
可能没有子弹打空在墙里，有没可能头部子弹严重变形，不好判断口径？

caliber that's very close to each other. And shooting into victim's head
would completely deform the bullet, making identification extremely
difficult.
However, shooting multiple people, in multiple rooms, all in the head at
close range, and no clear sign of robbery, definitely suggest this is the
work of professionals.

根据体内的子弹残片，应该可以鉴定出产品，不过可能要点时间。手枪子弹击中头骨会
留下入口弹洞，但不知道是不是很精确。

其实化很大劲把弹头整得消失，不见得真有啥用。只要枪是大路货没案底，完事一扔，
啥手枪不一样。
