The Canadian Association of University Teachers raised the same issues in
December following an instructor's human rights complaint alleging
discrimination based on her belief in Falun Gong, a spiritual group that has
been banned in China.
The complaint led McMaster University in Ontario to close its Confucius
Institute last year after the complaint was settled through mediation. | b*****z

One true story is some Canadian high school teacher taught students Cultural
Revolution, saying lots of bad words about Chinese. When asked by a
mainland China immigrant, why she taught Cultural Revolution in High School,
the teacher said it was just a course and she was free to teach whatever
she wanted. The immigrant was very angry and argued with her why she didn't
teach how Americans brutally treated Chinese in early 20th century and why
she didn't teach Open and Reform of China in the past 20-3- years. The
teacher was stunned. Finally the teacher used another topic to replace
Cultural Revolution.
Many Americans have similar logic, they assume China government is always
bad, they would trust FLG's lies instead of China governments due to
Brainwash.
