It’s no secret the American media loves to portray our society as one with
an embarrassing and continuing legacy of racism and discrimination. When far
more blatant examples occur overseas, it sure doesn’t fit their narrative,
does it?
Remember “no Irish need apply”? A new incident in South Korea is truly one
for the books: a woman from County Kerry has been rejected for an English
teaching position due to the “alcoholism nature of your kind”.
