Muslims is NOT Violent
“No, Muslims are not more violent than people of other religions. Sorry
racists – but here’s the tea.
Compared to many white, 1st-world countries, Muslim countries experience
exceptionally lower murder rates.
As for political violence, Christians in the 20th century wrote off tens of
millions of people in the 2 world wars & colonial repression.
This didn’t happen because “Christians” are worse people. It happened
because their leaders industrialized war, & pursued a national model.
Often it is argued that they did not act in the name of religion, but of
nationalism. But, really, how naive…
Religion and nationalism are (were?) closely intertwined. The British
monarch is the head of the Church of England, so there’s that.
And on the flip side of the coin: much Muslim violence is driven by forms of
modern nationalism, too.
And let’s not forget the Soviet and post-Soviet wars in Afghanistan, for
which Europeans bear some blame. There’s a recurring trend here.
Compare that to the Christian tally of, oh, lets say 100 million people
white people killed in the 20th century.
Hmmm. That’s interesting math. Yet we are labeled as the terrorists. But
wait, there’s more. That’s just the 20th century.
Papal Bull – letters written by the Pope in 1492. Basically these letters
said everything in the world belonged to Spain, lol.
The pope& Europe are the reason the Native American population declined from
72 million to 4 million in 4 centuries. That’s not terrorism?
They did it in the name of their God. So why aren’t they labeled as more
violent than Jews or Muslims?
BUT WAIT THERE’S MORE. Good old Belgium, yes Belgium. Remember when they
occupied The Congo? Remember the 8 million natives they killed off?
Or, between 1916-1930 when Russia killed 1.5 Central Asians for revolting
against Christian European occupation.
No one has the slightest idea that Central Asians were mass-murdered during
WWI by Christians that looted of much of their wealth.
Russia when it brutally conquered and ruled the Caucasus and Central Asia
was an Eastern Orthodox, Christian empire.
it’s easily the most obvious fact people are delusional about: Christians
have killed more for religion than any other religion
Then, between half a million to a million Algerians died in their country’s
war of independence from France, 1954-1962.
I could go on and on and on. Everywhere you dig in European colonialism in
Afro-Asia, there are bodies. Lots of bodies. Lots of numbers.
As for religious terrorism, that is VERY universal. Some groups deploy
terrorism as a tactic more at some times than others. Like Israel
Zionists in British Mandate Palestine were active terrorists in the 1940s,
from a British point of view.
In the period of 1965-1980, the FBI considered the Jewish Defense League
among the most active US terrorist groups.
The Jewish Defense League was even found guilty of attempting to assassinate
Darrell Issa, a republican in Congress for being Lebanese.
Now that Jewish nationalists are largely getting their way, terrorism has
declined among them.
Yitzhak Rabin, Israel’s late prime minister said if Jews were not stop
getting their way then violence would occur. Hmmm.
Basically, if we don’t support Israel, then Jewish nationalists will create
violence. So Palestinians being murdered is a small price to pay
More recently there was the cold-blooded bombing of the Ajmer shrine in
India by Bhavesh Patel and a gang of Hindu nationalists.
Buddhists have committed a lot of terrorism and other forms of violence as
well. Many in the Zen orders in Japan supported militarism.
Nowadays, militant Buddhist monks in Burma/ Myanmar are committing a
genocide against the Muslims in Rohingya.
As for Christianity, the Lord’s Resistance Army in Uganda initiated
hostilities that displaced two million people.
Although it is an African cult, they are Christian in origin and the result
of Western Christian missionaries “preaching” in Africa.
If Saudi Wahhabi preachers are blamed for the Taliban, why do Christian
missionaries get away with all the hate they preach and inspire?
Despite the very large number of European Muslims, in 2007-2009 less than 1%
of terrorist acts in that continent were committed them.
It takes a peculiar sort of blindness to see Christians of European heritage
as “nice” and Muslims as “inherently violent”"
