I think it is important that our federal judiciary reflect the rich
diversity of America. Just as I have done in building a very diverse group
of campaign staff and advisors at all levels, as President, I would make
nominations that are just as diverse, thoughtful and talented, including
considering qualified Asian Americans. I will appoint justices who will
protect the constitutional principles of liberty and equality for all,
regardless of race, gender, sexual orientation, or political viewpoint; make
sure the scales of justice aren’t tipped away from individuals toward
corporations and special interests; and protect citizens’ right to vote,
