I never in a million years thought I would be writing this. Sadly, my
natural penchant for needing to say I am right brings only bile to my mouth,
but it must be used at this juncture.
WE TOLD YOU SO!!!
We, the Berners, told you that this year there was an unacknowledged class
warfare that was coming to a head. We told you that this was about the
People vs Wall Street. We told you that this was about fair treatment of
labor. We told you that this year, the election was about a revolution
against the establishment and that what was needed was a radical rethinking
about how things get done in Washington, D.C.
We were told that we were misogynists. We were told that we were low
information voters. We were told that we don’t understand politics. We were
told that we were probably racist. We were told that we were secret Trump
supporters and that to prove we were not we had better swallow the Clinton
candidacy and tow the line or else. We were told to “FEEL THE MATH”.
Well, here is reality. We were right. Also, when you do your calculations
you will come to realize that the math does not support that this is Comey’
s fault or the Jill Stein’s fault. There are not enough votes on them to
make that fable you like to tell yourselves stick. THAT difference is not
accommodated by Jill Stein or Comey. I am sorry, but you will have to face
reality and “FEEL THE MATH” yourselves. It is time for you to accept that
YOU ARE WRONG!
And because you betrayed us and yourselves, you lost us this election. For
that, we will now suffer for four years and you must accept that it was the
blind desire for Clinton that blinded you, and in particular the DNC, to the
realities that at long last, your betrayal of progressive ideals and
principles and your selling your soul to Wall Street made it impossible for
you to win. When Bernie was polling as winning more independents that both
Trump or Clinton in a three-way race, you should have listened to the PEOPLE
. Look at the primary map and when you decided that Bernie was “out of the
race”. It was after the Southern States voted. How did that work for you?
What southern States did Democrats win? Oh right…. Virginia and……..
riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight.
I am heartsick, betrayed, and in complete despair for my nation. What is
worse is there is nothing I could have done to prevent it because my Party
refused to see. I will never forgive you people. | d****o

do to address the frustrations and anger felt by huge swathes of the country
? They closed ranks and wrote endless, self-important articles in the New
Yorker or the Huffington Post about how a vote for Trump was a vote for
bigotry or sexism or whatever big bad buzz word was trending on Twitter. Why
bother to actually questioning why people are so pissed off when you can
just simply dismiss them as a bunch of ignorant bigots?
They have been far too happy to bounce around their echo chambers, preach to
the choir and slap each other on the back for being so progressive instead
of getting out there and seeing their own abject failure staring them
straight in the face. This has been brewing for decades, but in the last
five or ten years the liberal left across the Western world has been a slow-
motion car crash. They’ve been warned again and again and again, but they’
ve spent so long with their heads up their backsides that I’m sure they
never even noticed.
