This happened on a Delta flight I was on, from New York to New Orleans the
night before Mardi Gras. Naturally nobody wanted to give up their seat. So
Delta just kept raising the bribe to give up a seat. The last seat was "
volunteered" for $2,800 in cash and we finally took off.
The lesson: fly Delta. |
