gmail: I do use gmail. But this is too easy to replace. I also use hotmail
at the same time and won't mind switching to the latter entirely.
Drive: never used. Dropbox and iCloud is sufficient. If I want to share
files with people in China, I would have to use one of those Chinese brands
anyway.

的。
google已经把所有消费者可能需要的互联网服务都集成在了一起，并且都做到了非常先
进的地步。消费者的消费习惯，决定了他们会继续使用google。即使其他的工具诸如
bing在技术上也可以做到相关的功能，但是消费者的消费习惯，决定了他们不会离开
google。google仍然是无可替代的。

代的技术了。唯一真实的是股沟在搜索和广告两方面具有垄断的地位。但是垄断和无可
替代是两回事。打破垄断，能取代股沟的多了去了。其他几个业务都一般般，更容易取
代。这两年开始流行亚马逊无可替代了。

在这个信息爆炸技术更新换代飞快的时代，科技公司的兴衰如同弄潮，
一不留神就被打下去了。花无百日红，没什么是不能被取代的。
记得当年IE怎么绞杀NC吗。当时在浏览器很多技术细节方面，NC比IE有优势。
而IE利用OS优势，美其名曰集成，把NC用户抢过来。当IE一家独大后，
最后变成一个什么样的buggy浏览器，大家也很清楚了。
今天Chrome蚕食IE，Firefox的份额也是异曲同工。在浏览器技术细节，
IE，firefox和chrome都有长处，Chrome的网页渲染效果是做的最差的。
以至于我经常要帮助客户在style.css预加渲染效果，否则有些网页效果不能看。
同样的搜索关键字，在Chrome搜到的结果最多，相关性最好。而用IE和Firefox
搜的结果差很多，甚至完全没有相关的结果。google就是无耻的利用资源优势，
逼着用户转用Chrome。
有关SERP的排名，虽然搜索算法很复杂，取决于很多参数综合作用，但那只是哄外行。
做数字知识产权的朋友就知道。占据SERP前列的都是盗版下载，非法tube。
因为那些站点流量大，带给google广告收益大。哪怕那些站点已经收到
成千上万个DMCA投诉。google照样让他们占据top spot。以前google还收敛一点，
一旦收到的DMCA达到一定数量，google会deindex或者下降那些站点的搜索排名。
现在完全不管。现在的google没有底线，一切以流量收入为纲。
在科技界，没有哪个产业能千秋万载的。只是时候未到罢了。
