The US trade deficit grew 12.1 per cent, or $61.2bn, to $566bn in 2017,
according to data just out from the US Commerce Department.
For the record, in Mr Trump’s first year in office, the goods trade deficit
with China grew to $375bn while that with Mexico increased to $71bn.
