A Florida sheriff says the deputy who was on duty at a high school where 17
people were massacred waited outside the building for about four minutes
without ever going in.
Broward County Sheriff Scott Israel announced during a Thursday news
conference that Deputy Scot Peterson resigned after being suspended without
pay.
Israel said he made the decision after reviewing video surveillance and
interviewing witnesses, including the deputy himself. The sheriff says
Peterson responded to the building where the shooting took place, took up a
position outside a door and never went in.
When asked what Peterson should have done, Israel said the deputy should
have “went in, addressed the killer, killed the killer.” |

影一样每个警察都能用手枪击退持有自动步枪的歹徒)
以此为例对于老师配枪能够阻止枪击案的说法我也是持保留态度

这个警察至少是个渎职的懦夫。一边高度赞扬那些本不该拉门或者堵门而这样做被打死
的师生
是英雄，一边替职责应该是去阻止罪犯而躲在警车里的警察开脱，有点讽刺。

共有11个人受伤。2名轻伤为NYPD，9名重伤为无辜路人，全是被警察误伤。持枪者最终
