I'd say that in general, Chinese people can't drink much. I've met plenty of
guys that will get wasted after just 1-2 bottles of pisswater like snow. I'
ve never even seen a girl back home get drunk as quickly as many of the guys
I've drank with in China. Lots of East Asians actually lack an enzyme which
helps to break down alcohol, which leads to the whole red faced flush thing
and, I assume, a lower tolerance of alcohol.
That said, there are still plenty of people here who can easily drink me
under the table, and it's not that hard to find somebody who can really
drink. Seriously, some people here can reeeeaaaaalllllly fucking drink.
People's alcohol tolerances seem to vary a LOT here. A lot more than back in
the UK, I'd say. | W*********n
